Save The Date – Spring 2008 Public Health Institute May 19-23, 2008, State College, PennsylvaniaPlease save the date for this important event.  The foremost objective of the Public Health Institute is to provide educational and training opportunities for the Public Health workforce. PHI encourages networking and collaboration within the Department and with community partners.  Attendees select courses and workshops from the following tracks: ·         Public Health,·         Emergency Medical Services/Emergency Management, and·         Community Partnerships. SHIP Partnerships are eligible for scholarships to most travel expenses and there is no fee for the event. More details on the event will eventually be posted on www.health.state.pa.us/phievent. Currently on that page, you can find a call for trainers. Applications to be a trainer are due January 18, 2008.
